It’s done! I’m officially hands-off of book one and full throttle on book two!

I know it’s been months since the release but, well this is all new to me. It took a lot longer than I expected simply understanding how to market a book. I spoke with tons of people (shout out to Rachel Cone-Gorham, the marketing wizard) about what I should be doing and where to advertise, metrics and interests, cpc and blah blah blah.

So, while I’ll still be doing some passive marketing on this one, I’m letting the world take the wheel while I sit in the back seat for a bit. I’ve got a detailed outline of book two and we’re cranking that bad boy out. I had planned on having about half of it done by now but I’ve been delayed quite heavily. I refuse to let this thing sit a moment longer. I won’t be like those authors that write a book and wait a decade to release the next one. I’m giving myself a hard deadline of having an edited copy of book 2 out to some beta readers by June 2021 and, if all goes well, with a little luck and a lot of work, we’ll be able to get this thing out to the world by Fall 2021!

Not my typical blog, but I wanted to give everyone a quick little update about where we stand. I also wanted to wish everyone a very early and very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoy the holidays and we start 2021 off by completely forgetting 2020.

All the love,

Dan
