Three Year Anniversary & Book 2 Beta (Part 1) - June 15th 2023

Well hello again!

Three years ago, on June 15th, 2020, I embarked on a magical journey, publishing my first book, "The Last of Ryn Dvarek: A Journey Into Dreams". Today, as we stand on the same date in 2023, I am thrilled to share that we're journeying deeper into the dreamlike realms of the Five Kingdoms.

The voyage has been anything but easy. It's been filled with challenges, late nights, seemingly professional levels of procrastination, and the more than occasional bout of writer's block. And finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel, being actual progress we've made on the sequel! The first half of Book 2, which amounts to approximately 100,000 words, has been penned down and has already undergone the first round of edits. The second half is well underway! I’d love to get some early opinions, so if you’d like to read and critique the first half, please let me know and I’ll send a copy your way.

It's no secret that writing is a craft that tests our limits. Bringing to life the world and story of Ryn Dvarek and the Five Kingdoms was a colossal undertaking, a labor of love that I naively embarked upon, without fully realizing the magnitude of the task at hand. But as they say, a task once begun must be completed, and it's a challenge I have come to cherish.

Today, as we mark the three-year anniversary of the first book, I find myself not just reminiscing about the journey so far but also looking forward to what's coming. There are many more twists to be unraveled, more characters to meet, and an expansive world to explore in the sequel.
