An Update On My Journey Through The Storms - Feb 11 '24

Hello, Dear Readers!

It’s been *checks watch* approximately eight months since my last update, so I figured I’d get something out. For those awaiting book 2, I do sincerely apologize. Writing ‘Through The Storms’ has been nothing short of an adventure, filled with amazing moments of excitement and disappointing stretches of challenges and delays.

As many of you know, writing is a passion that fills my soul with joy and purpose. It's a wonderful escape, a chance to create worlds, lives, and stories that resonate and entertain. However, it's also a reality that writing, for now at least, remains a delightful hobby rather than a source of income. The demands of expanding my businesses and striving towards their success have sadly pushed my writing out of daily focus. This decision, though practical, has not been made easily. I berate myself many times a day for not writing. And I dream of a day when I can devote more time to writing, regardless of its financial return, simply for the love of storytelling.

My second reason for delay is one I'm sure many of you may be aware of already: the perpetual cycle of editing the first book, ‘A Journey Into Dreams.’ Despite my best intentions (and the advice of many), I've found myself revisiting and revising it for what feels like the umpteenth time. The pursuit of perfection is a tricky path, and admittedly, I've veered off course more times than I intended. The book was temporarily removed from sale, a decision made in the hopes of refining the story to meet my own evolving standards.

For those of you who've journeyed with me from the beginning, and for any newcomers eager to dive into the world of Ryn Dvarek, I offer my sincerest apologies for the wait. I also come bearing a small token of my appreciation for your patience: I am more than happy to send out free copies of the newly edited version of A Journey Into Dreams once it’s complete to anyone interested. It's the least I can do to thank you for your unwavering support.

It’s not much, but I want to express my deepest gratitude for your patience, understanding, and encouragement. The road to Through The Storms has been longer and more winding than expected, but it is paved with lessons learned and a renewed commitment to storytelling. I look forward to sharing this next chapter with you all, both in the saga of The Last of Ryn Dvarek and in the continuing adventure of pursuing one's passions against the odds.

I’ll see you all on the other side.
